Brian Turpin

Pastor

Brian is married to Shana. Their daughter Brianna has a son, Jackson. Jackson was adopted by Brian and Shana. Their son Zack is married to Amanda, and they have a daughter Arabella.

Brian and Shana were born and raised in Evansville, and spent most of their childhood living in North Park. They both attended Thompkins and Central. Brian was previously the pastor of evangelism and discipleship at Community Central Church. Prior to that he had been a deacon, then an elder at Northwoods Church. Brian was an officer and a detective with the Evansville Police Department for 26 years before retiring in 2022. He has an associates degree from Henderson Community College in Computer Information Systems Programming. Brian enjoys meeting one-on-one and getting to know people and building relationships. He and his family love hiking and chasing waterfalls.

Stan Barringer

Assistant Pastor and Church Elder

Stan is married to Deb, and they live in Newburgh. Sons James, Stan, and Peter are all married and actively following the Lord in their home churches in Orlando FL, Bristol TN, and Newburgh IN. Stan and Deb have four grandchildren in Orlando and Newburgh. Deb is from Evansville, and Stan is from the New Jersey shore. Stan has a bachelors degree in Psychology from Nyack College in NY, a law degree from Duke University Law School in NC, and a masters in theological studies from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He spent 34 years as a corporate attorney, the last 24 of them in the Legal Department of Mead Johnson in Evansville, before retiring to attend seminary. Stan enjoys teaching a Bible study class, running, biking, and working outdoors. He and Deb love caring for their grandchildren.

Beatrice (Bea) Dunn

Secretary/Treasure and Youth Leader

Beatrice Dunn (Bea) has been the Secretary/ Treasurer for the church since 2022. She is trained in Biblical Counseling and is also a Discipleship leader. She co-teaches the Youth Sunday School and co-leads the Youth Group on Wednesday nights. Her favorite verses are Romans 8:38-39: For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Favorite quote: “For I have learned to love the wave that pushes me against the Rock of Ages.” Charles Spurgeon.

Domingo Figueroa

Worship Leader and Youth Leader

Domingo is married to Shannyn. Domingo was born in Puerto Rico. Shannyn was born in Kentucky. They met in Texas and now reside in Evansville, Indiana. They have 5 daughters, Tessa, Zakeya, Hayley, Madelyn, and Callie. They also have 3 granddaughters by their oldest, Tessa. Domingo has a Bachelors Degree from the University of Evansville. His plan is to get a Masters in Theology within the next couple of years. He has worked at Deaconess Hospital since they moved back to Indiana in 2016. Domingo enjoys music, hunting, and watching cooking shows with his family. If he could talk about anything for hours, it would be the Bible, his family, or electronics.

Jerry Langford

Deacon

Born March 17,1941in Harrisburg, IL. Have lived in Evansville for 56 years. Graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1963. Served in US Navy for 10 years. He was affiliated with the former North Park Baptist church until it became Community Central Church. He has devoted his life to serving God in both churches for over 40 years.
